Overview

Action Items is a powerful feature available on web and in the mobile app that lets you keep track of important tasks β€” either for yourself or for others on your team.

Where to find Action Items

  • Web portal: Access the Action Items tab at portal.village.health

  • Mobile app: Find Action Items under the More tab

  • My Action Items: Anything assigned to you shows up in the My Action Items section

  • Patient overview: Action Items related to a specific patient appear on that patient's overview page β€” right there in context when you need it

Automatic Action Items

Village automatically creates Action Items for important events, including:

  • Completing session documentation

  • Responding to match requests

  • Requests for parents to provide consent to workspaces

Custom Action Items

You can also create custom Action Items at any time to track tasks specific to your practice. See our article on how to create and manage Action Items.

Visibility

  • Admins and above: Can see everyone's Action Items

  • Practitioner users: Can see only their own Action Items

Do Action Items sync across devices?
Yes. Action Items appear on both web and mobile, so you can manage tasks from anywhere.

Will I get notified about new Action Items?
Yes. You'll receive notifications when Action Items are assigned to you or require your attention.

Can I assign Action Items to others on my team?
Yes. If you have the appropriate permissions, you can assign Action Items to other team members.
